Paag / paa is the most common way to eat tsampa by Tibetan and many of Tsampa eaters in Himalayan region.
Its one of the basic recipe made out of Tsampa and we are sharing this simple and easy recipe of Paag to make your morning easy and healthy.
- 40 gms of Tsampa
- 1 tablespoons of dry Cheese (Tibetan Style dry Cheese)Optional
- 8 gms of Butter
- 2 gms of sugar/any sweetner (Optional)
- 1/3 cup of Tibetan butter tea/ green tea
In 1/3 cup or 44 ml of Butter tea/ green tea add 1 square or 8gms of butter and 1 table spoon of dry Cheese (Optional), add 2 gms of sweetner (Honey or Sugar) and add 40 gm of Tsampa.
Mix all the above ingredients well by your hand or by spoon until a dough like mixture is formed and shape as you wish.
You can enjoy with yogurt, butter tea, fresh fruits or with any chutney.
Paag is wonderful option for your breakfast, though it can be enjoy through out the day.
