For thousands of years, Tibetan have been strongly rely on this magical food called Tsampa. Tsampa is the staple food of Tibetan and it reprsents the identity of Tibetan at large, Tibetan are also known as “Tsampa Eater”, from the far east to the west of Tibet, Tsampa has been part of their daily use.
Tsampa which is made out of Himalayan roasted Barley is considered as sacred food, It is use in all Tibetan religious activities, festive occations like Losar (Tibetan Newyear) and also during the funeral.
Since many of Tibetan are nomad, Tsampa as food has perfectly fit with the their lifestyle. Tsampa
